The D

So we went to Papadeaux for 'the D's' birthday last weekend. We had a fantastic time - they even escorted us to a special private booth! Looove the celebrity treatment.

Great food and some much needed time alone with 'the D' sans TV. It was crazy awesome! I love our life!

Mornings

So, right now I am generally stressed during my commute from Denton to Ft Worth for Bar/Bri 6 mornings a week. Last week I started a 13 day stretch. I listen to a mix of music on my drive, usually adding quite a bit of new hits and contemporary Christian music - I know...the combo relaxes me!

Anyway, I had to share the beauty that was the sky the other morning. I love catching awesomeness!!! (Though I'm sure I looked like a freak trying to take a pic with my camera with the window down going 70 - - - - Yes mom, promise I drive safe!)

Cover to Cover - One Day At a Time!

As if I need or even can handle another thing on my plate I have decided to add one VERY important one. I have decided to read the Bible cover to cover this year. I hear myself constantly rambling to others about how thankful I am and how I know it has been God's hand guiding me through law school because his plan is running its course in my life, and I am loving every minute.

But during church yesterday morning, Dr. Jeff challeged the congregation to read the Bible in its entirety. I had the lightbulb over my head, I'm sure. What better time to read the Word than now. I know my life is at a crossroad. I am anxious to refresh my memory on old Bible stories from my childhood and learn better the ones I am now old enough to understand.

As I stand on the precipice of my new career I am excited to take on this task. I will read as much as I can each night. Right before bed...right AFTER the devotion The D and I do together each night.

Happy New Year!

The New Year did a drive by on me this year! With BAR/BRI in full swing my life is crazy for the next 8 weeks. Thank goodness I have a husband who will wake me from my stuper to remind me that a new decade is knocking! Thanks babe!
