Thankful

I remembered this week that I have a blog and I have neglected it this last year. No more! I will write frequently, not daily, but often. Things are great. We are blessed. Our God is an awesome God and continues to do amazing things in our lives. More soon...

Glad to be Back!

Boy am I glad for apps that allow you to post to blogger. And I'm baaack! I'm excited to post about my travels and our fun times. I promise I didn't fall of me face of the Earth. Look for many posts to come!

The most reent trip was to Seattle and I only got a couple of pictures.

Bautiful dinner at Anthony's on Pier 66 right next to our Seattle office.

Classic Seattle photo-op. Yes, I'm cheesy!

Beautiful view of the boutiques downtown: Vera Wang, Gucci, etc.

Next up, H-Town and San Marcos!

Shandiz

So, my awesome Mom and Dad took us to eat Persian food on Saturday for my birthday! If you have never tried Persian food, you are seriously crazy in the head! The food is awesome - we found this buffet a few years ago and love the variety they have. Below are a few pictures from our lunch.

Love these people!!!

My Mom and Amy (my sister) - they are hilarious together!

Me and my handsome husband - notice the trend - no one can stop eating to take a picture. :)

Dad and Me! <3

My handsome dad.

29 Candles

Today I turn 29. It's a pretty insignificant number actually. Way past 21, but not yet quite 30. I'm not sure what birthday it is, but there's some point at which we no longer anticipate the feeling of adding another year to our age.

The past year has been wonderful. I feel like so much has happened. We bought our first dog, I started my job at the Firm and we bought a house! Not a laundry list, but some pretty major stuff in the day-to-day.

My husband continues to amaze me. It has been such a blessing to watch him transform into the wonderful man he is today. He was a great guy when we started dating 11 years ago, but that version of him has nothing on who he is today. I thank God everyday for so many wonderful people in my life.

So looking forward to having Persian food with my Mom and Dad this weekend for my birthday. (Any excuse for us to go get knee deep in a Persian buffet!) I'll post some pics later - -

I'm not weirded out by the birthday stuff, nor am I afraid of turning 30 next year. More than anything I am just overwhelmed with the many ways God has chosen to bless me and I hope I can pass that blessing on to others.

Peace
